Happy Fall!
YAY....it's fall and time to pick those yummy apples. Regardless of where you are in Columbus you will find some FUN on these farms!
Here is a general list of the 2011 Apple picking season...(please call ahead to confirm):
Lynd Fruit Farm 9am-6pm 9090 Morse Rd SW, Pataskala, OH 43062 (thru 10/31), hay rides, open market and other yummy snacks usually available. Take cash for the apples.
Leeds Farm 8738 Marysville Rd, Ostrander 43061, Sat 10-5, Sun 11-5, opens Sep 22. This event has a ton of family friendly activities for the kids and while you are there pick your best pumpkin.
Jacquemin Farms 7434 Hyland Croy Rd, Plain City, 43064 beginning Oct this location hosts a great children's area on the weekend and limited activites during the week. See their EVENT listing for all the fun goods!
Hirsch Family Farm: 12846 St Rd 772, Chillicothe, OH 45601; 740-775-7055. 8-6 (Sunday 12-6), enjoy a range of options at this nearby farm, markets, apple picking and wagon rides and more.
CherryHawk Farm Enjoy this Marysville's working Apple farm. It even has chickens, pups and kitty cats for the children to interact with!
