Review AND 2 Giveaways

Anything that excites, entertains, educates and exhausts kids is a great resource right? What if it also allows you to sip something called Cappuccino royal and enjoy the soup of the day with a baguette? I am referring to the new Powell hot spot called Lattes and Lollipops. 3 sisters, with adorable children, were inspired to open this resource for you and I believe you'll enjoy it as much as we did!

This play cafe is truly a treat. You can opt to allow the watchful caregivers to oversee your kids while you catch up on some computer time (using their free wi-fi). There is a separated room with viewing windows (sort of like in a dance studio). You can peek in easily and watch the kids bounce on the mini-bounce house or enjoy dressing up or the fun train track with many magnetic trains, to name a few activities. If the child needs to use the restroom or is upset they will be passed back to you. These caregivers are not CPR certified and since they are not changing diapers, doing rest room runs or offering too much more than 'eyes on' then they don't need to have that certificate or really any other. They are very eyes on mind you, they are interested in child safety and child comfort. I was very impressed with their concern and attentiveness!

Here are the cliff notes of what to do and expect upon arrival. Near the play area is a cubby for shoes, the waivers and name tags. Everyone MUST wear socks, no shoes or bare-feet allowed in the play area. Head the kids into the play center and then yourself to the register. There you can pay and pick a yummy and then get settled into comfort and relaxation!

I love this cafe. When we have baby #3 I can see myself enjoying this place too much. While my kids can be engaged in great play yet nearby I can write to you all with the baby snoozing in a stroller next to me. Thankfully they offer a nice punch card!

Some additional info (also HERE): play is in 2 hour time limits, geared for ages 6 mo to 7 years, first child is $8 and siblings are $4...however there is a happy hour from 1-3pm Mon-Fri with a rate of $4 per child (yay). Hours are: Mon to Fri 9am to 3pm, Sat 9a-1p, and private parties are offered.
Full list of instructions and what is and isn't allowed is HERE. This amazing place is off 337 West Olentangy Rd, which is connected to the Lost Shepard and College Nannies and Tutors (In between Sawmill and Liberty Rd)

So, for the giveaway, two winners...each will will one child's play pass and one coffee drink, which is good for any hours they are open! YAY!!!
