Be a Locavore!
Including Local Farmer's Market Schedule
By: Nicki Hemby
Being a Locavore is a concept of eating local and from foods harvested with a 100 miles of your dining room table. Here are 5 reasons to eat local!
1. Eating local means more for the local economy2. Locally grown produce is fresher and tastes better3. Locally grown fruits and vegetables have longer to ripen naturally4. Eating local is better for air quality, pollution protects us from bio-terrorism5. Buying locally grown food is fodder for a wonderful story
Support your local farmers and feed your family the freshest of fresh!
