Last week we checked out the new Spray and Play Park and Playground at Veterans Park in Delaware. The kiddos enjoyed splashing around in the fountains and liked the dinosaur theme. There are two covered areas where you can watch your kids splash. The adjacent playground had some great accessible features and a slide the comes out of a skull. I would recommend shoes for the playground as the AstroTurf gets hot in the sun. There is an additional covered picnic shelter by the playground. The snack bar features Rocky's Italian Ice and a variety of other reasonably priced snacks. To learn more about this splash pad and others in our area go HERE.
