Last Sunday the Palace Theatre was filled with excitement and giggles as hundreds of children awaited Peppa Pig, her friends and family to take the stage At Peppa Pig Live, Peppa Pig’s Big Splash. All of the smaller characters were puppets and the larger characters were costumed people. The attention to detail was amazing; the characters looked like they had just stepped out of the cartoon.
During the show audience participation was requested for singing, dancing and stomping. In my opinion the participation helped even the littlest kids in the crowd to enjoy the show. My oldest loved a part in the show where George’s Toy Dinosaur got stuck in a tree and the audience was requested to help shake the tree by stomping on the ground.
Peppa and her friends do run into a problem when they find out there is a leak in the Nursery Roof. The friends organize a school fair to raise money for a new roof. One of the activities at the fair was a muddy puddle jump competition which had the audience cracking up. Daddy Pig even had a special fancy costume for the competition.
My advice is to go enjoy Peppa Pig Live when it comes to town next!
