What we love about Emerald Fields Park:
Emerald Fields is a great park for kids of all ages! There are baseball fields, cricket fields, restrooms, a shelter area with some tables, and a large playground that never feels crowded because it covers a lot of area. A few of the things that make Emerald Fields a family favorite park is the large number of swings, the music and lights structure at the front of the park, and a large play structure that has a number of different slides. The older ones can run on top of the play structure, while toddlers will enjoy all the gems underneath from the ground level: different games and activities perfect for the younger kids who aren't quite ready to be on top of the structure! There is usually plenty of parking and restrooms and a shelter with some tables so you can enjoy a picnic or snack in the shade. You can also find a Walking Trail at the back of the park if you want to enjoy a walk while you're there. The park is quite large and has different distinct areas at the playground, so you might want to keep an eye on your kids to know which area of the park they're playing in! I've been taking my now 8-year-old daughter to this park since she was 3, and it is still a favorite of hers! If you head to Emerald Fields for the first time, you will find the main play area past the Baseball fields, the parking lot you want to park in is the second one.
