What we love about Liberty Park

Liberty Park in Powell (2845 Home Road) is a fantastic park with so many different things to do.   In addition to Soccer Fields, Baseball Fields, Tennis, and Sand Volleyball Courts, there are three separate playground areas.   The first playground is at the back of the first parking lot.   It is a good-sized playground and would be ideal for Toddlers or Preschoolers.    The second playground is by the Tennis and Sand Volleyball Courts and is the smallest of the three playgrounds.   The last playground is at the back of the park and is my daughter's favorite.   (look for the blue playground).   It has great features for both younger and older kids, and the highlight here in my family is the "rolling slide".    There are many reasons we love this park:  it's so big and open and there's so much space to explore.   We also all appreciate that there are Restrooms by each Playground.   There are a lot of picnic tables throughout the park and a large number of Shelters, particularly by the second playground.   There is a walking trail that goes throughout the park, and there is a big pond that you can fish in.    Another highlight for my daughter is running up and down the big hill near the back of the park.   Since it's set so far back from Home Road, it's quiet and never feels crowded because it's so large.   It's definitely a favorite of my 8-year-old and has been for many years.
