Football Charades
Warm up the crowd before the game with a fun game of charades! Make it as easy or challenging as you'd like depending on the words you select. You can easily DIY the setup, or if you're short on time, quickly download and print out a football charades list.
Super Bowl Fish Bowl
If you want party guests to focus on the football game, Fish Bowl is the way to go! Not just for fun drinks, with this fun twist, you will print or write out tickets listing events that could happen during the game (Mahomes throws a TD pass, etc), then put them all into a bowl. Players draw tickets from the bowl, and the more correct ones they've collected, the higher their chances of winning.
Super Bowl Emoji Pictionary
A favorite with my kiddos, this version of Pictionary uses emoji characters! Add a Super Bowl twist by spelling out football related words and phrases. You can purchase and download a printable version from Etsy, or search ideas to create your own! Time guests to see who can finish first, or have them play on their own.
Half Time Commercial Bingo
We all know the best part of the Super Bowl is the commercials! Watch for brands like Netflix and Pepsi, or celebrities like Melissa McCarthy or Sylvester Stalone. You can make one big card, or different cards to collect (cars, drinks, snacks, celebrity etc). Every guest will be ready to watch in the hopes of getting B-I-N-G-O!
Linemen Shuffle
You'll only need a football tablecloth (purchase at the link, or create your own!) and some sandwich cookies (we prefer oreos) to slide on top for this competition that's similar to shuffleboard.
Have players stand at one end of the table and slide their cookies down the tablecloth. The goal is to get them to land touching the line. Players have to land one linemen (Oreo) on each of the lines the fastest (or within a minute) to win. As a bonus, you can still eat the cookies even if you lose.
Match the Mascot
Test your guests team knowledge with this printable "Match the Mascot" sheet from Moms & Munchkins. Set a timer to see how long it takes everyone to complete it — or let guests complete on their own for fun.
Football Squares
A popular Football Party game is Football Squares! Make your own "football pool" and encourage some friendly competition throughout the game. Prepare your own prizes like sweets, gift cards, or even cash for the lucky winners.
How we play: Assign one team to the columns and one to the rows. Have guests write their names in the squares they'd like to claim. Each guest gets assigned a certain amount of squares based on how many people are at the party. There are 100 squares to fill. So if you have 10 party guests, each guest gets 10 squares.
Randomly choose numbers 0 through 9 to each column, followed by doing the same for each row. Now each square represents a specific score in the game based on the column and row numbers. The winner is determined by looking at the last number in each of the teams’ score, and then matching those numbers on the grid and seeing which square intersects those two numbers. At our parties, we select a winner each quarter!
An example: If the score at halftime is Eagles 33, and Chiefs 24. The last number for the Eagles is 3, and the last number for the Chiefs is 4. The square on the grid that meets at Eagles with a number of 3, and Chiefs number of 4, would be the winner.
