Sing, Rhyme, Read: Music & Movement

Sessions Popping up at a Library near you!

By Learn Sing & Grow September 10, 2025

Love storytime? You’ll adore what happens when books and music meet. This September, Learn Sing & Grow is bringing Kindermusik® pop-up sessions to local library spaces around Columbus—inviting little ones and their favorite grownups to sing, move, and play with language together.

These short, joyful gatherings feel like play—but they’re quietly building powerful early-literacy skills:

  • Rhyme & rhythm tune little ears to sounds in words (phonological awareness).

  • Steady beat supports attention, self-regulation, and reading readiness.

  • Call-and-response grows vocabulary and confidence.

  • Movement makes learning “stick”—what the body does, the brain remembers.

Where to join in (30 minutes • ages 6 months–4 years + grownups)

  • Friday, September 12, 2025 – 10:30 a.m.
     Upper Arlington Tremont Library

  • Monday, September 15, 2025 – 9:30 a.m.
     Dublin Library

  • Tuesday, September 23, 2025 – 9:30 a.m.
     Worthington Northwest Library

Tip: Wear comfy shoes, expect wiggles, and bring your singing voice (no perfection required!).
