Let Me Run is a curriculum-based run and wellness program for boys in elementary and middle school. We are much more than just a running program! We know boys today face unique challenges. As the only national nonprofit organization focused on the mind and body fitness of boys, Let Me Run's evidence-based running program equips boys with the physical and emotional resilience, empathy and determination they need to succeed today and become confident, emotionally intelligent, and healthy men. We help them become their best selves. Using running as the vehicle to inspire, teach and reach boys.

Twice a week for seven weeks, our trained coaches guide teams of six to fourteen boys through the program.  Each fall and spring season culminates in a 5k race that celebrates the boys’ emotional, social and physical growth. Our curriculum uses running as a tool to teach essential life skills, helping boys develop a strong sense of self-worth, resilience, and determination. We provide a supportive and inclusive environment that gives boys the confidence to thrive in all aspects of life. As they grow and develop, our boys become a community that uplifts and encourages each other.

To bring Let Me Run to your site, you need at least 2 volunteer coaches. The rotation set of 2-4 coaches allows flexibility. Biweekly practices last one hour and fifteen minutes. LMR provides coaches with the curriculum to guide lessons, exercises and fun activities. Coaches can be parents, staff or community volunteers. We offer a 3rd grade, 4/5th, 3rd-5th OR 6-8th Middle school option. Registration is easy and online. Coaches are provided free training every 2 years. One coach must have CPR training and background checks are required. Registration fees apply and financial assistance opportunities are available.
