There’s no place like the Short North Arts District for the holidays!
Celebrate the holidays in the art and soul of Columbus. The most special time of the year is even more special this year in the Short North Arts District.
Short North Arts District Holiday Trail: Customers who fill their trail cards with stickers from 3 purchases at Short North businesses from November 25-December 31 will receive a free hot drink from participating Short North Arts District Businesses. Cards will be mailed to Short North neighborhood residents and distributed in Short North businesses.
Promotions: Amplified District Awareness for Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday, and throughout December.
Holiday Hop on Saturday, December 2: Columbus’ favorite and most festive time to celebrate art and the soul of Columbus from 11 am-8 pm.
Short North Business Window Display Contest: Businesses can win up to $500 by creating the best storefront window on the block.

The High Street Holiday Market will occur on Saturday, December 2, from 11 am to 6 pm in a closed High Street in segments from Russell to W. 2nd Avenue. East/West accessibility for vehicles to access parking garages will still be provided at Russell and High, Buttles/Bollinger and High, Hubbard and High, and Second and High. The market will offer an immersive and festive atmosphere to complement our business community, featuring an impressive array of 150 creative and diverse street market vendors curated in partnership with Matchmakers Marketplace to complement over 300 Short North brick and mortar businesses each with special experiences. Explore High Street directly under the arches with fun holiday experiences, Santa, music, and more. In the event of inclement weather, Holiday Hop and the High Street Holiday Market will move to Saturday, December 9.
Planned experiences include:
Christmas Tree Sales, Gift wrapping, Ice Carving, Festive Street Performances and a community sing-along with the Harmony Project, Hot beverages, Holiday Fashion parade from the Columbus Fashion Alliance
Short North Arts District Elf Trail: Kids under 12 who fill their trail cards with stickers from 3 businesses with Elves hidden on the Shelves of Short North businesses from November 25-December 31 will receive a free hot drink from participating Short North Arts District Businesses. SNA to provide Elves to participating businesses.
Short North Arts District Lil’ Shops: Promotion of Short North businesses that offer a selection of items under $20 for kid-friendly holiday purchasing.
