Description
The City of Hilliard’s Independence Day event draws in the entire community for a day full of fun and celebration that includes live music, food trucks, and fireworks. The patriotic celebration kicks off at Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park with inflatable games for the kids and bands playing on the concert stage. This year, get ready for an amazing headlining performance by CMT “Artist of the Year,” record-breaking Billboard chart-topper, and American Idol contestant Gabby Barrett. Rounding out the live music experience are performances from Dillon Carmichael, a country music artist with two consecutive Top 25 singles “Son of A” and “Drinkin’ Problems”, and Alan Carl, an emerging country music powerhouse with Ohio roots. The event will wrap up with a professional fireworks display lighting up the night sky.
Kids will have a blast at Freedom Fest with SuperGames. They’ll have plenty of activities for the kids, ages pre-school and older, to play from 5 – 9 p.m. The weight limit for the games is 250 pounds.
A Kid Zone wristband will be required to participate in activities. Wristband pre-sale goes through July 3 at the Community Center, 3800 Veterans Memorial Drive. Only credit and checks are accepted during pre-sale. Cost for residents is $8/per wristband and non-residents is $9 per wristband during pre-sale.
A limited number of wristbands can be purchased during Freedom Fest with cash only for $10 starting at 4 p.m. ATMs will be available near the Kid Zone.
All wristbands are non-refundable.
