Presented by the New Albany Chamber of Commerce, the Independence Day Parade & Festival is a favorite annual tradition that fosters civic pride like no other. Thousands of residents and visitors attend the parade in the morning and the festival in the evening. Parade Awards are presented for Mayor’s Award (best community spirit) and Presidential Award (most patriotic). This free family-friendly festival features live entertainment, bounce houses, face painters, balloon twisters, and caricature artists. Stop by the Dueling Axes mobile trailer to show off your skills and compete with your friends. Food and beverages available for purchase from food trucks. Parade starts at 11:00am at the New Albany Primary School parking lot and ends at Church of the Resurrection parking lot. At approximately 9:45pm, the City of New Albany presents fireworks.
