Description
Presented by the New Albany Chamber of Commerce, the New Albany Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration kicks off the holiday season. This free family event is Sunday, November 24, 2024, 3pm – 6pm at Market Square, in front of the New Albany Library, 200 Market Street, New Albany, OH 43054. The festivities start with the arrival of Santa at 3:00pm. Enjoy live entertainment on the big stage, live reindeer, ice sculpting demonstration, balloon twisters, face painters, caricature artists, photo stations, axe throwing, and horse drawn carriage rides until dusk.
Roaming performers include a stilt walker, the Grinch, and Frozen stars: Elsa, Anna, Sven, and Olaf! Food and beverages can be purchased from Market Square restaurants and food trucks. Drop your letters to Santa in the red mailbox at the library for special delivery to the North Pole!
At approximately 5:25pm Mayor Spalding will lead the countdown to light the tree!
After the tree is lit, we’ll light up the sky with a holiday-themed drone light show!
