Mr. Eric brings his guitar and microphones for a fun musical sing-a-long 1st & 3rd Tuesday- mornings at 10:30 AM. 2nd/4th Tuesday is at 6:30p. Everyone is welcome, those stage ready kiddos can sing with along on the microphones while others can sit back and use the shaker instruments!

Thursday, May 23 - Activity & Family Dinner Night (Earth Fare/Polaris)

Saturday, May 25 through Monday, May 27 - Ice Cream Festival (Utica)

The weekend is fun filled and entertaining for the entire family. Over 90 artisans from Ohio and other states exhibit their handcrafted items. Pony rides, antique gas engines, a car show, motorcycle show and a magic show are just some of the many things to do and see. Lots of contests including ice cream eating, balloon toss, egg toss, (all weekend long) and kiddie tractor pulls on Sunday. We have a general store, ice cream tent, ham and bean tent, bratwurst stand, and other delicious foods along with stage entertainment. The highlight of the first day will be the parade in the village of Utica.
Where: The festival is held one mile south of Utica and nine miles north of Newark, on state route 13, on the grounds of Energy Cooperative and Velvet Ice Cream Co.

Sunday, May 26 - Concert on the Green (Worthington)

The Worthington community is invited to enjoy a Worthington tradition, Sunday concerts on the Village Green. The concert series kicks off Sunday, May 19th at 7:00 p.m. and continues throughout the summer every Sunday through August 18th. (No concert on June 16th)
The concerts are free and great family entertainment. Concert goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
In case of inclement weather, Sunday concerts will be moved to the McConnell Arts Center. Concerts on the Green are sponsored by the Worthington Parks and Recreation Department.
Where: All performances are held on the Northwest Quadrant of the Village Green Parking is available at Kilbourne Middle School, Griswold Center, Worthington Library, Huntington Bank, and the Worthington Presbyterian Church

Monday, May 27 - 6th Annual Ring Around the Roses 5K Walk-Run

6thAnnual Ring Around the Roses 5K Walk-Run-
The 5k race will begin and end at Whetstone High School. The course will make 2 loops through Whetstone Park’s oak trees, meadows and flowers and then finish up on the Whetstone H.S. track. 
Kids Run-We will have a 100 and 400 meter dash beginning at 8:30am. Age groups are 6 and under and 7-10. All kid racers will receive a race ribbon.
No entry fee required, but all donations accepted. 
Awards-Top 3 men and top 3 women will receive an award
Advanced Packet Pickup- Packets will be available starting Friday, May 24th through Sunday, May 26th at Columbus Running Company's DUBLIN location only.

Monday, May 27 - Powell Memorial Day Parade & Ceremonies

Come and join the hundreds of Powell residents who will line the streets to help us pay tribute to the country's veterans, past and present, at the 2013 Powell Memorial Day Parade!
Immediately after the 10 a.m. parade on Monday, City officials will lead a brief ceremony at the Veterans Memorial in Village Green Park.
Where: Downtown Powell and Village Green Park– 47 Hall St.

Monday, May 27 - Memorial Day Parade (Worthington)

The Worthington Memorial Day Parade, sponsored each year by the American Legion in Worthington, will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 27th, 2013. The parade will begin on E. Dublin-Granville Rd. and proceed south on High Street to Cemetery Drive. Please contact the American Legion for information on how to enter your group in the parade.

Monday, May 27 - Memorial Day Parade (Grove City)

American Legion Paschall Post 164 and Veterans of Foreign War 8198 sponsor the Memorial Day Parade at 11 a.m. The parade route begins at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church church and travels down Broadway. There is a short ceremony at City Hall, then the parade continues to Grove City Cemetery for the Grove City Memorial Day service.

Monday, May 27 - Santa Maria, open

Step back in time and onto the cargo ship that Christopher Columbus sailed, well a museum-quality replica of the Christopher Columbus' Flagship. Guided tours that dramatize the daring determination it took for these explorers to set out on their mission. 

Kids enjoy this ship and there are even Pirate themed birthday parties that can be scheduled to enjoy.
