My family goes to the Don Scott Airport frequently to eat at
Jack and Bennys Barnstormer Diner, the pancakes are amazing! About a month ago we saw an advertisement while we were there for OSU Airport Open House and 5K on the Runway:Don Scott Trot and knew we wanted to check it out on 10/3/15. Even though it was a chilly, rainy day on Saturday the open house had plenty to offer. We loved getting up close to some cool airplanes, visiting with vendors and chatting with students from The Ohio State School of Engineering. One of the highlights for myself as a history lover was talking to some retired pilots who told us about flying into Don Scott when it was a much smaller airport. My children were able to make a glider airplane and the whole family enjoyed yummy food from the food trucks that were there! We will be putting this open house on the calendar for next year!
